The Romeo to My Juliet

Aiya bit her lip, contemplating. She was dry now, but she was still ice cold and freezing. "Okay. I'll do it. But.. hands out at all times." She scooted a bit closer, not sure how to sit.

(*lurky lurky lurk lurk*)

"Okay" Levi said, putting his hands up. "You could sit between my legs...or...em..." he said, not really sure. He wasn't exactly an expert at friendly.

Despite the tension, Aiya smiled. "Here, just stay still." crawling over, she told him to cross his legs, and then sat in his lap. She then moved his hands so they were sitting with palms down on the rock. "There."

"Okay..." Levi said, looking over her head at the tiny fire. "Better make the best of it I suppose" he said, shuffling forward, trying to forget about his back.

"Your very cold.." she commented, feeling it even through his clothes. The flames flickering before her helped, but not much.

"...Well I am pretty cool" Levi said, a lame attempt at humour. The little pile of flames gave off a little bit of heat, but not much.

And I tend to repeat myself when I'm not on a computer

Despite the pun, she laughed again. "So what were you doing out here, anyways?"

"Oh...em... Just being by myself I guess" Levi said awkwardly. "You?" he asked

"oh.. I was just out here exploring.." She played with her fingers.

"Clumsy people shouldn't explore" Levi said, shaking his head, looking out at the rain.

"I'm not clumsy!" she protested. "I'm just... talented."

"Yeah. Because you totally haven't fallen down a cliff and nearly fallen again" Levi said, rolling his eyes.

"Like i said. I'm TALENTED!" She smirked, then bit her lips as she tried not to laugh. Unable to hold it back more then a few seconds, she shook her head and started laughing.

"Sure." Levi said, trying to drown out her laugh... It was kinda cute. "What's so funny?" he asked, scratching his arm.

"I dont even know.." she couldn't really stop. "I think i might be going insane.

"Jeeze. Didn't take you long. You've only been stuck with me a couple of hours" Levi said, shaking his head.

"well, whats your excuse? I've heard rumors that you're already insane." She didnt mean to say it out loud, so she avoided his gaze and looked into the small flame.

Levi looked down. "...I ...I suppose I kinda am. Neglect maybe?" he suggested, not really sure of his mental health. He sighed, wondering what else people said behind his back.

She gave an awkward smile. "But i don't think your that.. crazy."

"Well, I suppose when I'm angry I can be a bit crazy..." Levi said, thinking about it. "I mean, I'd been living in the streets for a while." he said, not mentioning that he'd also been an addicted lowlife.

"you were living in the streets?" she asked a bit confused, thinking of Muse. "I thought that your dad was.. Quiris." she bit her lip. "Why would you be living on the streets?"
