The Romeo to My Juliet

Levi snickered a little at what she'd said and moved the pile back into the cave a little so it wouldn't get wet. "So... you're going out with Emerald?" Levi asked,a s he got the feeling the guy didn't like him.


(glad I'm not the only one who thought so )

Aiya watched his shadowed form before answering. "Yeah. why?" She remembered what Emerald had said a few nights ago, and shivered a bit.

"Just wondered." Levi shrugged, knowing he shouldn't get to close to her, incase he got punched in the face. He sighed, moving into the shadows.

She pushed some dirt with her foot. "Is he really your dad?" she asked quietly.

"Yeah..." Levi sighed, having an idea. He pushed it to the back of his mind, trying to pretend he wasn't stuck here. Why did she have to be pretty? And taken? Couldn't she have been pretty and single? Or ugly and taken? He sighed again, watching the wind and rain rage outside.

Aiya stood up, Reaching up to find the cieling. It took for her to be on her tippytoes for her to touch it. Lowering her hands, she walked a bit around before sitting down a bit closer to levi. Though she couldnt see him very well, the small hint of light left in the sky illuminated his face, putting him in a handsom light. She looked down as she noticed it.

"So..." Levi said, wondering if they were just going to sit in silence. "Come here a sec..." he said, wondering if he could take the moisture out of her clothes.

"Why?" she quickly asked, panic a bit noticeable in her voice. She then tried to be a bit more casual. "I'm fine where i am. comfy.." she patted the ground, jamming a finger as she did so. "ow.."

"I was gonna try and dry your clothes a bit... I mean, I'm not very good at water magic, but I'd like to think I could at least do that" Levi said, looking at his hands. "But if you're good there, that's fine..." he added, knowing he'd probably be her last choice to be stuck in a cave with.

Levi Jay was the last person she wanted to be stuck in a cave with. Aiya hugged herself, thinking about her own magic. "I'm a water witch, so i can do it myself.." she hadn't wanted to share with him her magic, just because she wanted to be able to use it in secret if she had to. Holding her hand above her arms, she started to pull the water off.

"Oh... That makes things easier..." Levi said, staring at the wall. He took a little water out of his clothes, and moved it to soothe his back.

After she finished, Aiya was unsure of what to do with the bubble, so tossed it behind her. She frowned a little when it made an echoing sound. "Maybe the caves deeper.." she thought outloud.

"I don't think it would be a good idea for me to go further. I'm kinda tall..." Levi said, making that his excuse for not exploring as opposed to a sore back.

"there could be a way out, though.." she protested, standing up.

"Or it could go down, and we'll never get out. Besides. It's dark" Levi said, ignoring the fact he could see okay in the dark. He really didn't want to admit walking would hurt.

"Well, then maybe i'll just go on ahead by myself.." she bit her lip, not really wanting to do that. She didn't like this situation as was, but being alone would make things much worse.

"What if you get trapped? Just stay here. I know I'm not good company, but it's safer" Levi said, wondering how stubborn she was.

"Well, then.. You'll have to rescue me.." she took a slow step towards the back, not even being smart enough to grab a light.

"Aiya!" Levi yelled, annoyed. He tried to get up, holding on to rocks as he pulled himself. He had to stoop, which really hurt his back. Biting his tongue so as not to yell out in pain, he tried to follow after her.

Aiya stopped when he said her name. She turned around and stared at him. "Are-are you okay?"

"Come back..." Levi said, closing his eyes to rest for a second as he held on to some rocks.

His face.. It looked.. innocent and genuine, as if he really didn't want her to go and get hurt. "O-Okay." she nodded. she didn't want to hurt him. "you should let me take a look at your back.." she sighed. "Your bleeding through your shirt.."

"No it's fine. I can deal with it myself" Levi said, feeling his way along the rocks. He was so used to doing it himself, treating his own injuries. He'd run away... nearly over a year ago. But he'd been independent for so much longer.

"I can be stubborn, you know.." she smiled a bit, getting a bit closer.
