"Yep! Ready to try chocolate covered bacon?"

"No kidding, dimwit. What exactly did I tell you not to do? You better hope that spider wasn't poisonous." Justice rolled her eyes and brushed her hair out of her face.

"Let's head outside first" She said, already leading him to a spot to sit down

"Uh.. you told me to calm down"

"Sounds good." He grinned and followed her outside.

"And did you?" Justice asked, feeling like she was scolding a preschooler.

She sat on the grass, making usre to sit in the shade

"No, but a spider attacking your face tends to make people panic"

Zach sat down beside her.

"Yeah, and a person panicking tends to make a spider bite," Justice retorted.

She opened the package, taking out a piece of bacon and offering it to him

"I.. okay, that's true.."

Zach took a piece, looking at it warily. "Think it's gonna be good?"

"Of course it is. If you'd actually listened to me, you wouldn't be in this situation, now would you?"

"Hopefully, if not I just wasted my money"

".. Probably not" He shrugged

"Hey, you gain a new experience and knowledge that bacon and chocolate do not go good together, assuming that's the case," Zach replied, laughing before popping the bacon into his mouth.

"People really should listen to me more," Justice replied, rolling her eyes.

"And I still lost 15 buccks I could have spent on ice cream. Ice cream I might have given you." She took out a piece, hesitantly biting it

"I regret not listening.." He scratched at the bite

"Hey, it's not bad," Zach said, shrugging. "Kind of good, actually. Who would've guessed it?"

"Think it's poisonous?" Justice asked, looking out at the water.

"It's... actually good" She nodded, honestly surprised


"I really hope it wasn't"

"I know." Zach was equally surprised. He wasn't sure what he'd been expecting from it, but bacon and chocolate was actually not half bad of a combination.

"Do I have to drag you to the nurse to find out?"

"I hadn't really expected bacon and chocolate to taste good together" She ate another piece

"No, no. That's only neccassary if I pass out or somethin'" He continued scratching it

"Me neither," Zach agreed, stealing another piece for himself. "And yet here we are."

"Quit scratching it, you idiot!" Justice exclaimed, shooting him a glare.

"So, should I run off with all the bacon now?"

"Why?" He paused

"Nooooo!" Zach whined. "I want some more."

"Because it's already all red and gross and you're making it worse."

"But I want it alllll" She whined back

"No I'm not..."

"Too baaaadddd," Zach said, pretending to pout.

"You can't even see yourself, so shut up."

"But I paiiid for themmmm" She was only kidding, planning on letting him have more

"It can't be that bad"

"But I my ideaaaaaaa," Zach whined, continuing to pout.

"It's a spider bite, do you think it's gonna look nice?"

"Well, if you say pretty please I might let you have more"

"I.. okay, that's a good point"

"Pretty please?" Zach asked, giving her his best puppy dog eyes.

"Of course it is! Now leave it alone. And let's get down from here, because if you pass out, I'm not dragging you down this cliff to get help."

"There's you go, now you can have some more" She handed him a few more pieces, opening her soda

"Nice to know you'd let me die" He started down anyways

"Yay!" Zach grinned, taking the pieces she'd handed him and popping them into his mouth.

"You'd die either way. Either I'll have to drag you down this hill and you'd break your neck, or you'll die of a spider bite. Make your choice." She rolled her eyes and began to climb down after him.
