M-M-Medieval Ages

Muse, who had been struggling to stay awake, opened her eyes to stare up at the sky. While she hated most people there, she was worried about Alistair "Does he live?" It was obvious she was still having a hard time remaining conscious

Aiya winced just at the question. "I..." Her voice went off.

"What?"

"No. He.. lost."

"Oh.. of course he did.." She sighed, trying to sound like she expected it and wasn't upset, but failing. It was obvious this upset her

(... Maya moment is coming. i sense it :3 )

Aiya frowned at her tone. "Muse.." she whispered.

(Woo!)

Muse didn't reply, sighing heavily

Aiya bit her lip, unsure what to say. She had delt with loss before. She knew the feeling. But, she still didn't know what to say. So instead, she turned over and wrapped her arms around Muse, cuddling her close.

Muse froze momentarily, not used to being hugged, but slowly relaxed and wrapped her arms around Aiya

Aiya closed her eyes and gently snuggled into Muse, taking in her smell. It was hard to place, but it comforted her.

Muse actually smiled a bit, resting her head against Aiya's.

"Your warmm.." Aiya commented.

(Well I'm kind of seeing Aiya on her side and Muse on her back and Aiya's just kind of pulled herself close to Muse, now snuggling up against her. Muse is doing her best to hug her without having to actually roll over, and she's leaning the side of her head against Aiya;s forehead because if she looks at her she'll be tempted to kiss her cheek)

"I'll take that as a compliment"

Aiya nodded. "It was. I'm cold."

oh and since they're on the forest they're laying on a combination of soft grass and pink, red, and violet flowers and a tree log is a few feet above their head, laying in the grass. I imagine the sun is setting and that the village is destroyed, but they're far too distracted too even care )

"Well, I'm happy I can be of some use." She wished she still had her cloak, she'd let Aiya borrow it. "I've almost finished the cloak I promised you"

(Because Muse is boss and can make a boss cloak out of rabbit fur)

"Yay!" she smiled, snuggling like a child into her. "Muse.." she added after a time.

(*starts to add something*)

"Yeah?" She looked at her

"i..." She bit her lip. "Sorry."

She frowned "What?" She repeated "You can tell me.."

(If i tell you, then it'd be no fun D: *will try to make it happen on her own* )

Aiya shook her head. "I'm sorry.. for opening the door. If i never would have opened it, your fri-" she stopped, for she could no longer speak. Hot tears were pouring down her face as she thought of the pain she had caused Muse because she was too stupid to realize the danger and listen to her. Muse always seemed to pay for her mistakes. Always.

Muse stared for a moment before sitting up, dragging Aiya with her and hugging her tighthly "Aiya, please don't cry.. you had no way to know what would happen.."

Aiya attempted to pull away, snot dripping down her face. "B-But.." She could hardly get the words out, sobs taking over her sense of speech.

Muse let her pull away, instead tearing off another piece of her armor and handing it to Aiya in the hopes she'd wipe off the snot "I should have paid closer attention to you, it's my own fault Ali is gone"

Aiya blew her nose, cuddling the rag. "No!" she shook her head. "Why do you keep me around!? I'm such a-a burden..!" Aiya cried.

"Never say that, you're not a burden.." She hugged her gently, sighing "Because you're my friend..." She didn't mention that, now that Alistair was dead, she wad her only friiend
