I hugged my file, not even sure where I was meant to be. I'd met a few people, and they seemed nice enough, but I'd been so anti-social to everyone they probably didn't want anything to do with me. Brushing my hair out of my eyes, I leaned against a wall, pretending I wasn't lost.

Carver, planning on leaving the building for no particular reason, shoved Aimee towards a wall as he passed. The only real reason he pushed he was because he was in a hurry and decided she was in his way.

When Clarissa didn't reply, I shrugged and grabbed my wallet "Okay, see you then." I left the room, Kaci in tow
