Game Over. Game-over-try-again


You have to admit, you didn't think death would be like this. Wasn't there supposed to be some tunnel with a light you're not supposed to approach? Some people believe your life flashes before your eyes, but all you can see flashing is "Try Again" in bright red, it, and the words above it, floating around lazily. In some books it'd be described as cold and that you can agree with, shivering as you take a hesitant step towards the letters, glancing back and looking at the darkness as a ladders shimmers into existance, leading straight up. What does try again mean? Will you get another chance at life? If you take the ladder, are you giving up? What happens if you are? There's only one way to find out, you have to chose?

Will you try again?

After a moment of silence you nod to yourself, approaching the letters as your enveloped by a bright light. For some it's pure white, for others red. What it means, you don't know. In the big scale of things, maybe the colour doesn't matter. Good or bad, anyone who chose to try again ends in the same place, the Land of Spirits.


Characters are the same as always, picture (if you don't want a picture at least give me a tiny description) and a name., but you will also need to list your ghost type (merpeople are not a starting type, see the link for all types) You can only be a spirit of the dead unless I need someone to control a Spirit. You look human or elven or whatever you died as, you only look like a ghost (The list of things starting with the banshee are not starting ghost types) when you go to the realm of the living. You can get a picture for both, if you like. Only one for the Land of Spirits is needed. They can be from whatever era you like, but if it's thousands of years in the past I'll just refer to them as late arrivals ^_^


Places:

The Boat- All who chose to start again first appear on the boat, already nearing the island town

The Harbor- Where the boat lands, there's a beach nearby. Most spirits can't swim unless they contact the Spirit of the Sea and ask for the ability. This will change their ghost type if their request is granted, hell. They won't really be a ghost anymore. Every time they go to the realm of the living they get to be a mermaid or merman... what fun..

Transport Stones- Take you anywhere, even the realm of the living to view or even contact them, in a way. One must always come back to the island. The Stones will come into play as a big plot device later on.

Homing Area- Most have a home here, though it's pretty useless. You don't need to eat or sleep.

The Market- The realm of the living is obsessed with cash and those in the Spirit Land are obsessed with Jewels, their currency. 1,000 jewels equal $1.00, 10,000 jewels equal $10.00, 100,000 jewels is equal to $100.00, and etc. The rest should be pretty simple to figure out. If you die with 500 in the bank it'll add up to 500,000 jewels. In general things cost 15,000 to 30,000 jewels. Earning jewels is pretty damn simple. Personal transport items can be bought here as well as magical items (Which can be used only if you visit the Spirit of Wisdom and ask for powers. If your request is granted your ghost type will be changed to banshee)


The Library- Books are here. What did you expect?

If you've been granted magic powers you can also see the spell books that were once hidden by a spell


The Rink- There's no skating here and it normally cannot be accessed by the spirits of the dead, only Spirits (The difference being Spirits are things such as "THe Spirit of Curiosity" or "The Spirit of Courage", they rule over the Land of Spirits

Spirits:

Spirit of the Sea- She'll be on the ship, though once everyone get's off she'll jump off the boat for a swim in the ocean. She'll turn into a mermaid.. or an octopus, depends how she feels.

Spirit of Courage- He'll be guarding the the transport stone leading to the rink, will be dressed like a knight in shining armor. Singing on as one of his guardsmen will change your ghost type to Angel (not the bible kind. I mean, they both have wings, but these kind of a have a sword and kick demon ass)

Spirit of Cunning- He'll be in the bar, dressed like an assassin. Joining him will change your ghost type to Demon (Which are pretty badass and rogue-y. Whenever they act out in the realm of the living Angels are sent in to terminate them. If they act out in the Land of Spirits they get taken to the Spirit of Courage who'll lock them in The Rink)

Spirit of Wisdom- Appears to be a handsome, elven man. He is dressed like a mage and resides in the library.
