"So....why are you here?" Nyx gestured at the empty abandoned park.

"I was boerd...my house is filled with people." He shrugged

"What people?"

"Lots of familly is in town.."

"Fun, your mum's?"

"Yup." He nodded

"So why aren't you there hanging with your family instead of hanging here?"

"I just needed a break from all the people..."

"How many people are there?" Nyx considered Jace a people-person for some reason.

"Like 40.." he sighed.

"...Whoa." Nyx said, eyes wide.

"I know..." He grumbled

"Oh come on, I bet it isn't that bad!"

"There just so many and grr....you go and try and deal with then for endless hours.."

"Bet your mom won't be happy you skipped out though." Nyx said with a grin.

"Ill go back before she noticed I left." He laughed

"Haha, so is this a gathering, or a party?"

"Gathering..cause everyone's coming in for the holidays and stuff."

"Fun, fun." Nyx didn't go to any gatherings; cause most of her family, the ones that cared, were already there.

"Yea...". He nodded

"So, what's it like?"

"Whats what like?"

"The gathering haha."

"Uh...loud..lots of talking and drinking."

"Uh huh." Nyx thought about it, it would be rather awkward if she had one of those...good thing she didn't.
