The Dream World

Kira watched, wondering if she should follow him. She shrugged, starting to walk in a different direction.

Zach hadn't walked very far, not even noticing Kira or the thing stalking them. And it was quite hungry.

Kira didn't notice it either, still walking

Zach noticed that all the plants were actually ones from the woods he had been born in, just different colored, so he stooped to pick some when he heard the growl. The thing growled and decided to go eat Kira first, as she was closest to its nest, and its babies, which were hungry too.

Hearing the growl, Kira froze. She was scared, though she'd never admit it. It wasn't real, she should turn around and face whatever it was. She didn't though

It was a lot like a saber tiger, except no fur, scales, razor sharp teeth which it had plenty of, two tongues, three tails, and four feet. It had a bony jutted up spine as well. Its eyes were bright purple and it was a hideous lime green. The teeth were pink. Zach looked wildly around, hearing it take off and started to run towards where Kira had started walking. He wasn't sure he liked her, but she didn't deserve to die.

Kira finally turned to look, freaking out and starting to take a few steps away from it.

The thing snarled and roared, stepping closer as Zach continued to run.

Yeah, now was probably a great time to run for her life so she did. She turned and ran as fast as she could

The thing chased after her just as Zach threw his hunting knife into its hind leg. It snarled and turned around, and he started running as well.
