Aaric walked swiftly to the ar, which was still parked at the stop sign and slid in, starting to drive down each street, looking for her.

Liz screamed out again, sobbing

Aaric drove down a darker street and saw a mob of familiar kids in a circle and heartwrneching screams that seemed all too familiar.

Most of them ran, leaving her in the middle of the street, but one, much stupider then the rest, continued what he was doing

flipping the glove compartment open, Aaric pulled out a black gun and kicked open his car door open. The pain in his back went numb as he focused. He cocked the... holder(? i dont know guns D:) and pointed it at the kid. "I'd stop, if you value any part of your life."

(Forgot what it's called, trigger? I dunno. Sorry)

He paused, staring straight at the gun, hitting Liz when she whimpered

"I. Said. Stop." he held it gansta style.

Not stupid enough to risk it, all he had was a knife, he slowly stood up

"you have great common sense." Aaric then pulled the trigger, shooting him right square in the middle of his forehead.

He fell to his knees, blood pouring out of the wound. Liz curled up into a ball, watching

Un-phased, Aaric walked over to her and pulled her into his arms. He didn't say a word, just carried her to the car.

Liz didn't move, wishing she hadn't left

He went to the passenger seat and set her in gently, joining her seconds later in the drivers seat. "Now you know why. " was all he said.

Liz didn't say anything, turning to stare out the window

Aaric drove back home and went to her door, pulling her out gently.

"Aairic..?" She stopped staring at the pavement, looking at him

"What?" he asked, heading for the house.

"Don't tell Dad..."

"He probably already knows." He already dreaded what would come his way. This was worse then before, when she had ran off earlier. Now, she had ran off, and got hurt. Being lashed was far from his punishment now.
