YVAN

In the middle of the bustling city Yvan, there is poverty. In fact, most people are poor. Many are sick and dying. Some want to save Yvan-while others want to control it. Which side will you choose?

The Yvan Soldiers
These people are loyal to the King Bellar. They want to help him in anyway possible. Most of the soldiers are poor, and they have entered the army because they are promised good futures after the war. The Yvan Soldiers, instead of fighting with the enemy, protect the city of Yvan against outsiders. They patrol the streets or are stationed by the gates to keep out riff-raff.

Royalty
There are many royals in Yvan. There is King Bellar, who is looking for a wife, the noble Prince Ire, and many, many more. They all live in the Palace. Royals get the best treatment. They are, after all, royalty.

The Poor
The poor people of Yvan live in slums in the main city. They have no money and have to find means of getting it. Some sell things at the farmers' market, like eggs or milk. Some resort to thievery.

The Pound Gang
These are the tough guys of the city. They steal, lie, and kill to get what they want. There are rumors they are led by the noble Prince Ire, but no one knows. They own slaves.

Vigilantes
The enemies of the Pound Gang, vigilantes try to stop the gang's evil doings.

Vampires
Creatures of the night, nobody knows if they be good or malicious.

Slaves
The slaves range from dancing girls to human punching bags. The rich use them-even the King has slaves to serve him and clean the Palace. They are there, that's for certain. Some slaves rebel-to dire consequences, usually. But could one escape?

Don't feel obligated to make someone under these categories. Feel free to use your imagination...

The people living in Yvan are mostly human, but you can be a vampire. I'm not going to describe anything else, because I like imagination.

Troian counted out the money earned from the slave auctions. "Sh.t..." he muttered. "A hundred bucks short from last time. Boss's gonna kill me..." he wiped his sweaty forehead and recounted the money. He was still a hundred short.

Troian ran his hand over his stubble, thinking of what to do. "Toby!" he barked, and a meek-looking boy entered the room. Like all slaves, he was branded on his shoulder.
"Yes, sir?" Toby asked.
"I need you to get Ellion for me. Tell him it's urgent." Troian said.

((The new rule is, if you just start RP'ing, you have to start with your character at home. They could leave or whatever, but yeah. So Troian is at his house, counting money, a Royal would be at the Palace, a poor person would be in their shack houses...stuff like that.))

Toby returned with Ellion. Troian brightened at the sight of his friend. "Sorry to bother you..." Troian said. "But we're a hundred dollars short."

"What?" Ellion asked. "Boss will kill us."

"I know." Troian nodded. "Which is why we need a hundred bucks."

"But how?" Ellion asked.

"We capture someone." Troian smiled. "And we either sell them or ask for ransom."

Chris (I've always wanted to use a Chris, so this is good) sat in his small shack, running his hands through his hair as he stared outside. He hadn't had much luck in farming, and was worried about losing the little money he had. (So obviously he's a peasant....I mean, poor.))


Lady Juniper sat on a small sofa, watching birds fly by outside the window, a bit bored. ((And she's royalty. *Not too descriptive with her because she's not sure how to go about royalty yet*))

"The Lady Juniper has caught my eye." Ellion said. "She'd be a worthy prize, Troian. And I know how you feel about her..."

"Shut up!" Troian said. "Lady Juniper and I have nothing to do with each other...anymore."

"Yes, yes, I know." Ellion said. "What say you, then?"

"I say we go for it. She's famous enough to be missed." Troian said.

"Maybe she'll remember your face?" Ellion winked.

"I said SHUT UP!" Troian screamed.

Juniper stood and sighed, taking a walk around her tower, her bored ness growing. She was a nice woman, but got bored easily, and was easily distracted.

Suddenly, a hand reached out and covered Juniper's mouth.

It took a moment for her to process it, but Juniper gave a muffled scream, thrashing.

"Sister, it's only me!" Jupiter stepped back, grinning. "You'd think you'd recognize your twin brother every once in a while...it's like someone is trying to kidnap you."

Juniper stepped forward and took a few deep breaths, shaking her head. "Jupiter! Are you mental?! I was scared for my life!" she exclaimed.

"Why?" Jupiter asked. "You're in your courtyard, protected. Who could hurt you?"

"I'm not sure...you know how I always worry," Juniper said, nodding.

"You don't need to worry, Juni." Jupiter said. "Don't need to worry at all."

"That makes me worry more, Jupiter," Juniper said and laughed, starting to walk off, motioning for Jupiter to follow.

"So, Bellar says he wants me to enlist as one of the Yvan soldiers." Jupiter laughed. "Can you see me in that outfit?"

Juniper laughed. "Yes, I can. And you look ridiculous."

"Hey." Jupiter slapped his twin lightly on the shoulder. "Well, I'm off to go kiss the maids again." he laughed.

Juniper rolled her eyes. "It's true." She sighed. "Alright...have fun with that," she said, shaking her head at him.

"Bye." Jupiter said, and left Juniper, turning around and going the opposite direction.

Again, a hand was pressed over Juniper's mouth.

"Goodby-" Juniper started, and paused when a hand cupped over her mouth. This time she wasn't as worried, but still thrashed around.

"Quiet, Juniper." Ellion murmured. He injected her with a sleeping medicine sure to put her out in minute.

Juniper's vision webt hazy, and she really scared. She let out a final scream, then fell to the ground.
