Gotta catch em all!!

Sara bolted up from her bed the moment she woke up and reached for her phone, dialing her best friend's number. Why was she so excited? They we're getting their Pokémon today!

((There...now you have a bit of a character idea, I guess.))

Hannah rolled over, feeling her phone vibrate somewhere under her covers. "one minute..!" she hissed at it, finding it after a moment and shoving it to her ear. "hello?" she yawned.

*Is gonna base this all off the Black and White games, as she knows them best*))

"BANANA!" Sara yelled into the phone, calling Hannah by the nickname she had given her when they were six, pulling on a fresh shirt and brushing her brown hair with her free hand. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING STILL IN BED FOR LUGIA AND HO-OH'S SAKE GIRL WE'RE GETTING OUR POKEMON TODAY!"

(*will base everything basically off the early episodes of the show*)

Expectingly, as soon as her nickname was shouted Hannah pulled the reciever away from her ear. "well goodmorning to you too, Sara.. Wait... Thats today!?" she sat upright and flug herself over the edge of the bed. "ow.." she tuttled. "i forgot!"

(my mom just scared the bajeebies out of me 0.0)

((Actually, scratch that. I'll do that, too. *Doesn't wanna get you confused*))

"YESSS!" Sara screamed, jumping up and down. "How in the world could you have forgotten about this, Banana?" She was beyond excited, clearly. She had been waiting for this day, counting it down on the calendar.

"calmmmmmmmmmmmmm...." hannah laughed, standin up and pulling on some jeans and and a tanktop. She tied her wavy blonde hair into its usual ponytail. "sorry, ive been busy in the shop." living with her uncle, she helped pay her 'rent' by working in his ice cream shoppe.

Sara took a few deep breaths, putting her phone on speaker and tying her hair up in a pony tail, then putting on her hat. It was like a baseball hat; completely white except for the bill, which was a pink, and a pink pokéball on the front. "Okay, okay, fine. Whatever. We gotta go to Professor Oak's, like, nowwwww though!"

"right right." Hannah went to her converse and slipped them on. "ill he in your yard in a minute." hanging up the line, she rushed through the halls and out the front doors, stopping in the yard next door.

"Woo!" Sara yelled sticking her phone in her back pocket and running outside. She grinned and ran over to Hannah, giving her a hug. "Let'sgolet'sgolet'sgo!" She jumped up and down excitedly.

"eep!" she squealed at the hug.
"shh your fangirling all over my clothes." she shoved her palm into Saras facr. Still, hannah herself was skiling widely. "lets go." She agreed.

"Woo!" Sara grabbed Hannah's hand and dragged her off in the direction of the Pallet Town Pokémon Lab.

"sara!" she laughed. "your gonna disarm me... Haha get it.. Disarm.."

((Oh, okay, sorry.
...I'm scared when they start fighting other trainers. That's gonna be so weird to RP.))

"Haha, very funny!" Sara said, rolling her eyes and opening the doors into the crisp, cool, and fresh Pokémon Lab air.

"Its a pun." Hannah nodded, knowing she got it but feeling like being a smarkalec anyways. "It always smells weird in here.." she commented.

"Yeah, I got that, Miss Smartypants," Sara said, rolling her eyes again and laughing. "I guess it smells kinda weird...."
"Ladies!" called Professor Oak, who was a tall man in his fifties and wearing a lab coat. "I've pot your Pokémon!"

"Woo!" happy, Hannah shot her fist up in the air. "we get the best ones, right?"

"Yes!" the Professor said, as Sara ran up. "You get three to pick from! Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur!"
"I want Charmander!" Sara said, grabbing the Pokéball that contained the orange, lizard-like Pokémon. "...please," she added.

"I want squirtle anyways." Hannah grabbed the turtle-like pokemon and held the ball closely.

"Alright!" said Prof. Oak. "And here are your Pokédexes." He pulled two little devices that looked a lot like a cell phone, and handed one to each of them. Sara grinned, hopping from foot to foot in excitement.

unable to stop smiling, Hannah started pressing random buttons. "This is it, right? now we get to go travel the world and make people cry?"

"There's no need to make them cry, Hannah," Prof Oak said, giving her a 'look'. "But yes, you now get to travel all around the region and train with your Pokémon."

"Sweet!" She grinned, kissing the small pokeball. "Sha'll we?" she winked towards Sara.

"Yessss!" Sara sang, saying goodbye to Professor Oak and running out of the Lab.

"...." suddenly hannah stopped. "Wait.. we probably should tell our parents, right?"
