here it is

December 21-22, 1995

Event: The Winter Solstice

Location: The Myst Dimension, Demon Realms.

*Kaderlyn’s pov*

The
blood red sun set at the southernmost point of the sky as a child’s wail filled
the hallowed halls. The sound of the
newborn’s cry wrested me from my studies, causing my second-in-command, Vrykul,
to continue the rituals. As I made my way through the castle, the cry’s of the
damn.ed shook the ground. I stopped at one of the archways and looked at the
fiery fires burning those unworthy to live, the grey sky, the black stars, and
the blood red sun that looked as though it was crying in pain. Another cry, and
a scream jerked me out of my stupor, and I followed the sounds into a massive
room. A gorgeous Victorian style rug, along with mahogany dressers and bed
posts were in the room. I sat in the unoccupied chair, a deep red with darkened
wood accents. Through the crowd of people I saw the bedspread, a lush red
again, with trimmings of gold, was covered in blood and other liquids I didn’t
care to know about. The smell of perspiration and pain tainted the air; I
breathed it in. Suddenly, the screams started up again, and a muffled cry; the
sound of a newborn. I got to my feet and made my way through the crowd. The
witch, Violet, was obviously in pain; her face scrunched up and red. The
efficient red horned doctor Verienad tended to her while the succubus nurse
Sorena held her right hand, sitting on the edge of the bed with her and telling
her to push. There was another nurse-a vampiress- paying attention to her
heartbeat and blood levels while a number of servants fluttered about. They were
whispering with each other and held towels and other linens, all the while
watching with excitement. This was the first time a child would be born in the
Romanoff household in a millennia. I decided to let them have their excitement
for the time being, I went and sat at the edge of the bed, watching the doctor
work his demon magic. Sure enough, a few minutes later, the sound of a newborn,
loud and clear, rang throughout the castle. “Towels, give them here now!” The
doctor’s gravelly voice, sounding as if his throat had been grinded with a
mechanical gear, which, as I recall, it had been, barked the order. The babe
was pale skinned like me, and had my face as well. However, her eyes weren’t my
black, nor her mother’s violet. They were Azure. Her hair was a mixture of some
dull grey and the same color of blue. “It’s a girl, my master.” The doctor
whispered, holding her out for me. I took her quietly, and regarded her
regally. I looked at her mother. Violet looked as though she didn’t care, which
having spent much time with the woman I believe she didn’t. Her hair had a
violet hinge to it, and her eyes were a cold violet as well. “Name it whatever,
my debt is paid to you.” She panted. I looked at the babe again. She was
looking at me with the haughtiness that I was to her. “Her name…” The castle
itself seemed to hold its breath as I paused. “Azure. Hail, servants and
slaves, to your princess, Azure!!” I bellowed it out, so the whole kingdom
could hear. I looked down at her. “And
so, your tale begins, daughter….”

1997, December 31st.

Event: Just celebrated Azure’s first birthday, witch’s cycle
is about to begin.

Location: Demon Realms, Myst Dimensions.

*Kaderlyn’s pov*

“Do you
not trust me with the girl? Honestly we’ve raised her for a year, I will be
here for the socialization and for the magic detail, the servants will take
care of the food! WHAT ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT!?” I yelled at Violet. Over the
past year she had grown to care for Violet more than what she truly was, a debt
payment. “You never watch her, and she is MY daughter as well Kaderlyn!” She
angrily replied. We’d been going about this for weeks, whether she should take
Azure with her for the witch cycle or should she stay with me. Honestly I had
already made up my mind, just getting Violet to comply was slightly harder.
However, it had been child’s play to simply put a small dose of compliance
potion in her wine this morning to get her to agree. I secretly smirked. She
never suspected a thing. I could see it working now, as her eyes stopped
glowing. “Well….I suppose….fine.” She said, her eyes slightly hazed over from
the effects of the potion. I smiled. “Wonderful! Now, your bags are at the
door, so why don’t you go? Enjoy yourself for a week! You’ve earned it!” I
smooth-talked her out of the door, and down into the carriage which would take
her to the portals which then would take her to the Moonwell Dimension, where
the night people resided and witches’ claimed their homes. Wonderful, everything’s going according to plan. “Orene! See to it
that Azure is well cared for, and bring her down to my lair at 2 p.m. will you?”
I walked away without waiting for an answer. I knew she would do exactly as I
commanded, otherwise the punishment would be worse than death, as she very well
knew. I thought of fifty years ago when I gave her the long diagonal cuts
across her bodice with demon iron. No healing potion or spell would ever fix
it. The agony could have been avoided, if she had simply thrown away the dead
body, instead of eating it like the ghoul-likes of her always did. I mused to
myself as I walked in and sat down at my desk, prepared to research the dark
magic I was about to do. The time passed and I heard a girl giggle, and looked
up. It was only 1:15 p.m. Mortal realm time, as we all went by that time, the
sun never goes down and stays down permanently here; it simply will go down and
come right back up on the eastern side of the horizon. Azure was standing,
levitating the potion I was brewing in my personal cauldron. The teleportation
threads still clung to her, and her face lit up and the entire potion levitated
up and out of the cauldron, going towards her. Her eyes were still the bright sapphire
color and her hair glossy and shiny. She wore a cute dress with a myst-like
pattern of azure and grey, and the peculiar magick she and her mother had clung
to her as well, the mysterious myst. I sat, watching the potion go toward her
for a moment, and as soon as it got close, the myst lunged out and attacked it,
shredding it to bits and pieces until it all evaporated and passed harmlessly
around Azure. She laughed again, the sound of pealing bells. She looked at me
with delight. “Look, look at what I can do!” She twirled around in a circle and
made it snow, then giggled again. “So, is it time already for another lesson?”
I asked her, getting up and walking around my massive desk. “Yes daddy,
please!!” “Ok then….”

A few days later…

Event: a magical ritual

Time: 5 minutes til midnight

Location: Demon Realms, Myst Dimension, Celtic graveyard.

I held Azure’s hand as we walked solemnly through the cemetery.
The echoes of the dead were faint, but tangible. They were afraid. The
prisoners jerked and moaned against their chains, and were quickly beaten and
silenced. Azure’s sparkling eyes were solemn, she knew this was an important
night. I sat her down on a crypt and sat by her while my servants fixed
everything. In a record time of two minutes, everything was ready. I picked
Azure up and placed her in the middle of the smaller circle. I gave her a
potion to drink and she did, she immediately went under, falling asleep
instantly. I stepped back out of the stones. “Begin.” I said it clearly. At
once, the demon fire lit up the outer circle, and the two smaller circles that
weren’t touching each other on the inside; the one with Azure sleeping
peacefully in the middle had tall walls of fire; nothing would get through. As
for the other, it had see through bars all around it; a powerful cage. “Summon
him.” I commanded. The summoning spell began. The language was intelligible,
demon. I listened to the wording carefully. I heard one word at the end of it:
Diablo. Ah, yes. Finally. Almost at once the Prime Evil appeared, blasting the
whole cemetery with unholy darkness. Everyone staggered except for Azure, who
was protected with the fire, and me. I simply inhaled it, loving the
invigorating feeling. “Yes?” He appeared
not to have spoken, but simply let his word blast throughout the dimension,
making everything…silent. I spoke then, clear as day. “You know what I want.” He regarded me coldly, looking at me as
though I was a fly, not a opponent. “Yes,
but not without payment.”
I jerked my head towards the circle, and at once
the prisoners, all a variety of lower-class demon criminals, were thrown into
the circle with Diablo. “Your feast.
Your payment.
” I commanded. The servants watched in quiet mourning and
dismay as the demons were eaten alive, slowly, excruciatingly, in agony, one at
a time. I inhaled their fear, their pain. Yes, I enjoyed it. After several
minutes, he was done. “As you have wanted
and payed, so it shall be wrought.”
A vial of ghostly black appeared in his
hand, and he wrenched his skin off his wrist with his teeth. Black hissing
blood poured steadily from his warped twisted veins as he filled the vial. He
healed just as the vial was full. He held it in his hand, and I levitated it
out. I handled it carefully. “Will this
do what I want?
” I asked carefully, watching his face. “Yes. Now, RELEASE ME!” He commanded. My
caster said the words at my nod, and the Prime Evil vanished. The wards slowly
came down, and the fire around Azure faded. I walked carefully to her, so as
not to disturb her, and opened her mouth. I poured the blood down her throat.
Immediately, I could see a change. Not physically, but mentally. Her magic was
transforming into something more dangerous, more powerful than I had ever hoped
for. I smiled. At the jerk of my wrists, the servants clattered about, erasing
the evidence of what we had done, of what we had accomplished. Except for
Azure. I gathered her in my arms, and walked to the carriage for the ride home.
Oh my sweet Azure, one day, you will be
queen, and one day, the world shall cower in fear at your feet. I promise you
that, daughter, and much more.”
I whispered this to her, then smiled at her
sleeping face.

PostSubject: Re: Azure's story area   Azure's story area EmptySat Jul 28, 2012 3:56 pm

Date: This happens over a few months so it’s an observation
time-table thing -_-

Location: same place as usual.

*Kaderlyn’s pov*

After
that successful night, Violet returned to the castle. She didn’t suspect a
thing. She did her own magical tests of course, to assure herself I had done
nothing wrong to Azure, and they passed her satisfaction. She would never know
the child was more like a demon than human now. As for me, I was happy that she
was taking after me in more ways than one. Her magic strongly exceeded her
mother’s mediocre powers; however, mine still bested hers, for the time being.
Life continued on with a few small changes, mostly erupting in Azure.

Over the first few months of 1998, Azure’s diet changed
dramatically. She went from eating her mother’s special tofu and magical
vegetables to my diet of black meat with bloody sauce. If Violet noticed this
she did not care; she still thought of the child as a debt payment completed.
Why she was sticking around made me curious, but she would be gone soon enough.
Azure’s diet was now completely to rare meat and I started mixing in some demon’s
blood here and there, along with some delicacies only I enjoyed, demon flesh
and werewolf ribs. She enjoyed them immensely, so I made sure she had as much
of the stuff she wanted. She ate ravenously for a one year old and yet she
still stayed petite. If anything, she was losing weight, so I made sure she ate
sufficiently enough so she could continue to cast her magic as much as she
wanted and still stayed the correct weight of a girl her age.

As for her magic, it did not change much until after her
diet stopped changing. It was on July 15th that summer when a real
noticeable change started. We were out in the gardens and she was watching the
carrion silverback snakes slither about, when one came up and tried to wrap its
enormous body around her. I stood back and did nothing, knowing her myst would
finish it off before it touched her. However, the myst didn’t behave as I had
expected. She commanded it to stay with her, and went to touch the giant
triangular head of the snake. In a blink of an eye, it struck, but not quick
enough. As soon as it tried to attack her, something exploded, with Azure at
the center of it. I was blasted off my feet and thrown into the castle walls,
leaving a dent of myself there. The castle itself shook as it withstood the
powerful explosion. It seemed like forever but in reality it was only a few
seconds. Soon enough, it stopped and the explosion went back to its source,
Azure. The snakes were gone, the beautiful red roses that decorated the garden
in ashes, and no vegetation left anywhere. The garden’s boundaries had crumbled
in the explosion. The ground was scarred with scorch marks everywhere. One of
our gardeners had erupted as well; only his bones remained, and they were
eating themselves to bits. I myself did not look good, nor did I feel good. I
could feel an invisible being eating away quickly at my powerful personal
wards. It had almost eaten through them completely when it suddenly stopped,
and the presence was gone. Azure turned to me, her eyes still faintly glowing
red, and said, “Bad snakes.”

PostSubject: Re: Azure's story area   Azure's story area EmptySat Jul 28, 2012 7:38 pm

December 21st-22nd 1999

Event: Azure’s fourth birthday!

Time: Almost midnight

*Violet’s pov*

I
watched Azure blow her candles with pride. As she did so, my mind flickered
back over the last year. From Azure’s
weird mood swings, her blowing everything up at times, and finally to her
strange diet. While I acted like nothing was wrong, I was slowly suspecting
that Kaderlyn had broken his promise; he had done something to our little girl.
I had only gotten pregnant to repay my debt to him for saving my life and for
the most part she was only a debt paid to me. But she still was my daughter. I
watched her blow out her candles with the force of a small tornado, and
thought, yes, something was wrong here. Thankfully, Kaderlyn had taken
precautions and put a spell around the feast and presents so they didn’t get
blown away or blown up. The cake was mixed with a delicious honey-blood mixture
she loved, which I have to admit was good. I had also added some silverleaf for
extra flavor. It had been relatively easy to distract the cook and slip some
in, then escape the crime scene. The meat, urgh, the stench was enough to make
anyone vomit. Focusing back on the present, I sat down at the massive table to
eat the feast.

Later that night….

I briskly walked through the castle corridors in the early
morning hours. I didn’t bother slinking around, as Kaderlyn would be sleeping
until noon possibly. I walked with purpose up the stairs to Azure’s tower. I
opened her door quietly, not wanting to wake her. I gathered a few of her
clothes that weren’t too extravagant, some of her toys and things. I packed them
into the bags I had brought with me then went to her bedside. “Azure? Azure, it’s
time to go.” She murmured in protest as I shook her awake. She finally woke up
and yawned, stretching her arms. “Why? Where are we going?” She finally asked
as she climbed out of bed. “We are leaving this awful place. Put these on!” I
urged her quickly. I knew the servants wouldn’t stay asleep for long; the
potions were only half as strong as I could make. She just stood there, the
clothes in her hands, eyeing me suspiciously. “Why, mother? Isn’t Daddy coming?”
She was about to yell when her eyes glazed over, slightly unfocused. She put
the clothes on while I got everything else. I smiled a bit when she did my
bidding. The silverleaves in her birthday cake had been dipped into a powerful
compulsion potion; she’d do whatever I told her and happily. As soon as she was
dressed I took her hand and we sprinted down the stairs and through the garden.
I barely noticed it had been repaired since the explosion. I blasted the gate
opened and we sprinted away. I heard some shouts and knew we had been
discovered, but it was too late. I pushed Azure into the huge portal and I
jumped in after her just before an arrow pierced my skin. Suddenly we were
spinning, faster and faster. We appeared at the other side, in Slavic Russia. A
man in front of us with a serious drinker gut cleared his throat and asked in
Russian. “Name and magick please.”

I replied, “Violet Haze and this is my daughter, Azure Haze.
As for our magick, you won’t want to know.” I gazed at him, compelling him to
pass us through. He did and we went straight to my contact, the inn keeper
Guoyn Stayvn. He ushered us into his pub inn, The Drowning Goat. Azure was
quiet, eyes wide and taking in everything. Her myst was hovering around her,
protecting her from anything. He pointed me up the stairs and I pulled Azure
into the first room. I set the bags down, opened and dumped her toys on the
bed, then turned around and placed a bracelet on her wrist. “Keep it on, you can
play but be quiet and I will be back later. Don’t go anywhere.” I left without
waiting for a reply. I locked the door and hurried down the stairs. I was late
for a meeting.

Back in the room…

Azure
stared at the door for a moment, then examined the bracelet. It was made of
some sort of metal, and it was big and clunky. There was a huge blood red jewel
in the middle of it, and it was glowing. After a few minutes of examining it,
she picked up her toys and stayed quiet. For the first time in her life, she
was alone.
