Conan

"Hm, what a shame." Nessa sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

Conan didn't respond, sighing and wondering where he had gone. He had promised to find someone for Conan to eat, but at this rate Conan would probably just eat his helper instead

"Looking for someone?" Nessa had noticed him looking around. SInce he wasn't going anywhere, and she was too stubborn to leave, she figured she may as well start up a conversation.

"Obviously." He shook his head, almost willing to attack someone who had a smell as horrible as Nessa did

"I'm only making an attempt at conversation. There's no need to be rude."

"Why bother talking to me? Though, with a bit of luck, I could manage to bore you enough that you want to leave"

"Because I have nothing better to do," Nessa replied. "Oh, I'm sure you could bore me to tears, however I'm much to stubborn to leave because you want me too."

Conan was going to reply, but his "friend" came running over, saying he found one for him

Nessa studied his friend, nodding her head slightly in a sort of hello.

"And you did it properly for once?" Conan asked, his friend looking at Nessa in confusion. He was honestly shocked Conan hadn't killed her

Sensing his friend's confusion, she merely shrugged.

"O-of course" He finally turned his attention back to Conan, glancing at Nessa once or twice "I tied.."

"You don't need to describe it" Conan sighed, shaking his head at the boy's stupidity

"I don't know, I think it could be an interesting story," Nessa spoke up, having been listening to their conversation.

"Whether it's interesting or not doesn't matter, it's none of your business." Conan didn't even bother looking at Nessa "Why didn't you bring him with you, Dae?"

Nessa made a 'tsk tsk' noise with her tongue. "Temper temper. No need to be rude."

"And there's 'no need' for you to butt in." He replied, making Dae go get his 'food'

"It's hardly my fault that you too were speaking loud enough for me to hear. Besides I was only expressing my opinion."

"You shouldn't be here anyways"

"Why not? This is a public place, and I can be here if I please." She smiled, still showing no sign that she was going anywhere.

"It's not as if there's any reason to stay here, don't you have anything better to do?"

"Of course I do. The real question is whether I'd prefer to do them other than staying here." She reached above her and grabbed a tree branch, pulling herself up onto it. She preferred it up there, she decided.

"Nothing is interesting happening here, why wouldnt' you prefer to go do.. whatever you do"

"Once again, as it seems you missed it the first time, I'm incredibly stubborn and you're making it very clear that you want me to leave. Therefore, the last thing I want to do is to leave."

"I'm only suggesting that you should, it's in your best interest, Though, you don't seem like the kind of person to find it very disturbing"

"I'm not disturbed by much, sweetie," Nessa replied with a shrug.
