"I never got past the name at the top of the page, Pan. I didn't read them, didn't know what they were about."

"Oh. That makes me feel loads better." Pan was slowly regaining her paleness, skin losing its gray color. "But yeah, a week later I learned I was pregnant, and he came by as if nothing had happened. He saw the pregnancy test results and wanted to be a father, blah blah blah. He was happy. He knew, but didn't care, that he had r*ped me. I still don't understand that." Pan replaced the empty bag with another full one of Zuri's blood.

"Right.." She said then listened as Pan explained the rest of what happened, not sure what to say

"Anyways, when I said he*l no, he got angry, and left. Later that night, he did a forbidden, highly dangerous curse ritual on me. I'm still surprised he could've done it. I was the best in our class, and he was the worst. But he did. The curse is basically my blood thins, and disappears each minute, each hour, each day. Each week I have to go out and buy different kinds of blood from the black market, the stronger and more powerful the blood the better, and do some spells and mix them together, then do this." She gestured at the iv bags with her other arm. "But some blood, like Zuri's and others, are more powerful that I can simply just do this with it raw. That's the first part of the curse."

"And what's the second?" She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to know

Pan glared at the wall. "Since I said no to his.....want, he made it to where I needed the blood and to be......intimate.....with someone each week." Pan felt her cheeks go red.

"Oh." She said simply, instantly feeling awkward for asking

"Yeah. I mean, sx is always fun don't get me wrong but I had to learn to like it." Pan nodded, feeling better but still weak. She was going to have to go out to the bars again tonight, which she wasnt in the mood for.

"Right... I'm sorry I don't know what to say.."

"That's fine. Most people wouldn't." She finally looked like she wasn't going to die, taking out the iv and making it and the empty bags disappear, then simply laid down on the floor.

"Are.. you okay?"

"Yeah, just feeling tired and weak mostly." Dmn it, her stomach growled. Well, that was annoying.

"... Are you hungry?"

"No." She lied as her stomach rumbled again. Why did this always seem to happen to her and Zuri? And in Muse's house. Bleh. She poked Zuri, wincing as she sat up.

"... Why bother lying?"

"...we're slowly coming to that realization." pan kicked Zuri now, knowing if she didn't get up now she wouldn't for quite a while. The girl loved to sleep, something that pan envied. Which of course it made perfect sense to her to continuously wake her I
