Mahou Shoujo Kasumi to Kyouko Magica Empty
PostSubject: Mahou Shoujo Kasumi to Kyouko Magica   Mahou Shoujo Kasumi to Kyouko Magica EmptySun Jul 14, 2013 7:22 pm

A very bright girl walked along the city streets, styrofoam cup of coffee in hand. Bright, as in, damn was she the finest hime lolita to ever walk these streets. She wore a pale pink dress with lovely, puffy, white polka-doted shoulders. Her torso was wrapped in a white leather corset, though it was so flashy that it was obviously just for the fashion; while the rest of her bell-shaped dress was pale and polka-dotes as well, with little ribbons attached in a pattern around the tiers of the bottom. She wore matching white Mary Janes and a little bonnet on her head around her so-light-it's-almost-white baby blue wig. Behind her walked--or rather, staggered, yet I'll get to why she went along in such a way in a moment--a lady with a very similar figure and, upon closer inspection, identical eyes and facial features as her apparent twin (despite this one styling the natural just-barely-shoulder-length raven black hair, lacking a wig) leading the way. She wore much plainer clothes; little burgundy slip-on shoes, black tights, shoe-matching burgundy, brown, and white plaid skirt, black and silky blouse, with a ribbon bow attached to the neckline of the blouse that was burgundy as well. It looked more like a dreary school uniform than an everyday outfit, really. Onto her staggering state; the girl had about eight cardboard boxes from department stores in her arms, as well as three bags hanging off each arm. You see now why she waddled along. Obviously, the boxes all belonged to her sister. She took the great weight of all of her twin's purchases very well, though, never once slipping up under them.

PostSubject: Re: Mahou Shoujo Kasumi to Kyouko Magica   Mahou Shoujo Kasumi to Kyouko Magica EmptySun Jul 14, 2013 7:50 pm

Gina sighed as she waited, hands in her pockets. She was honestly too impatient for this whole waiting thing and probably should have invested in a bike or something, but she wasn't particularly active enough for a bike. In fact, she was down right lazy most of the time. Her clothing choices were usually a matter of being too lazy to put much thought into what she looked like. The length of her hair was even a matter of laziness, for she found it easier to take care of hair that didn't even go past her the tips of her ears. Gina didn't particularly think much of anyone walking down the street, barely glancing at a girl with blue hair-she wasn't sure if it was dyed or what, she wouldn't be shocked if it was dyed though. She'd seen weirder things.

Turning her attention from the people passing, she looked down at her watch to see that her ride was late as per usual. That or they had forgotten again, Jamie tended to do that a lot after all. Irritated, Gina wondered if she should simply give up on her friend arriving and go inside and.. do something. And by something I mean she would probably do nothing. There was nothing to do in her apartment except watch TV and she loathed most TV shoes. Sighing heavily, she looked as if she'd expect something that'd would make her life even slightly less monotonous would suddenly appear but she assumed that there still wasn't much nearby for her to do either. She could go to a store, but she didn't really see what was so fun about shopping. There were a few restaurants nearby so she could go get something to eat, but she felt awkward just sitting at a table by herself. Gina was certain that she really needed to make some friends, friends that wouldn't forget to pick her up like Jamie or take her somewhere even more boring than her apartment was like Jamie always did. But Gina wasn't very good at conversations, so lonely dinner at a random restaurant was how she'd spend that night and likely more after that.

"I'm sooo hungry," complained Blue Hair, throwing her coffee away into a nearby trash can as she suddenly yet casually turned into a small, nearby restaurant. The other girl paused outside the door for a second in surprise, yet shook it off in a flash, used to her twin's quick decision making. She sighed deeply and followed in after her, sitting down across from her at a booth and stacking all of the spoils from their shopping excursion next to her near the wall (all boxes and bags had things belonging to Blue Hair, of course, as well as the fact they sat in the booth right behind Gina's). Both girls took glances at the menu, Blue Hair obviously much more interested in what her choice would be. "Kasumi," Blue Hair addressed her sister, "should I have pasta or a ham...hambur...."
"Hamburger," the other, now known as Kasumi, replied. She had spent much more time practicing the written English language than the other did before going on this vacation. They both spoke it almost fluently, but reading wasn't Blue Hair's strong suit.
"Okay! Then I'm getting that. What about you?"
"I'm not hungry, Kyouko."
"But...I thought you said you were!" Blue Hair--now finally with a name--furrowed her eyebrows and pouted.
"That was seven hours ago, before we ate breakfast," Kasumi replied in one breath in the form of a sigh.

It didn't take long before the girls Gina had seen walking along the street made their way into the restaurant, sitting quite close by and starting to talk just about instantly. Gina sighed, glancing at them before continuing to read down the menu she had gotten even though she had already decided what to order. But she had nothing else to do while she waited for the waiter, not like she had any one to talk to. Sure, she could try to talk to the number of people nearby, maybe even Miss. Blue sitting behind her, but she was sure that would be considered quite bothersome and then not only would Gina be bored but people would be angry with her. Hard to enjoy your lonely meal when people are mad at you for forcing yourself into their private conversations.. This wouldn't have been happening if she hadn't convinced herself it was a good idea to move to a city. If she hadn't done so she'd be sitting at home with Kai enjoying herself and actually eating a homemade meal. Hey, the swimming contest was in a few days too and Kai was probably participating as usual (which made it less of a contest and more of "hey look guys, let's watch Kai win again!"). She could be playing festival games with Kai right now, but instead she was sitting near two apparently Japanese girls and being blown off by her friend. Fun, fun.

The waiter finally came around and got the twins' and Gina's orders, them both sharing the same one of course since both booths were in the same section. Kyouko spoke too quickly for anyone to understand her, not even one who was intently eavesdropping, yet her sister, having dealt with this for years, knew just how to do it. She just nodded when she felt like she should and whispered little "hai"s whenever Kyouko looked to her expectantly. All of the girls received their food shortly, and as Kyouko munched on her 'exciting beefy American food', it was Kasumi's turn to speak as she picked at the small bowl of rigatoni in front of her. "You think there's any Witches around here?" she asked, voice very monotonous compared to the other's. Kyouko raised her head and eyebrows in surprise at the question, then swallowed and gave a low "hm" sound in confirmation. Kasumi tilted her head one way and shrugged, pursing her lips for a moment as she did so in a 'I know it was a stupid question, but might as well ask' way.
Kyouko's face and body language now looked considerably more solemn. "I bet someone's on duty, though," she replied, picking at her teeth delicately with the tip of a heart- and roses-adorned fake fingernail. "There has to be some in this big city, hai?" Kasumi nodded in return. "Yeah, yeah--you never know though."

Gina had been about to turn her attention away from the girls, wanting to just hurry up and finish eating so she could go home and mope there instead. She had picked up her fork, starting to eat around the bits and pieces she didn't particularly like as she heard one of them say something about witches. That would explain why one had blue hair and dressed so.. well, she was wearing a pink dress and concert for heavens sake. Both were most likely crazy as all get out. Makes sense that she'd be sitting near crazies, her decisions as well as her luck had been pretty rotten as of late.

Both girls continued to munch until Kasumi decided to mention, "It lit up when we walked by that hospital earlier," at which Kyouko spat the fry she was chewing out in shock.
All over Kasumi's face.
"Chikushou!" she exclaimed, wiping her face off with the napkin. Kyouko barely noticed what she had done to her sister's face as she asked frantically and wildly about what hospital she was talking about. "Shut up!" Kasumi hushes, which cause Kyouko's questions to not cease but only quiet down. Kasumi groaned. "That hospital on the way here. My gem lit up. I tried to say something but you kept going, and I just remembered...," she grumbled, swirling her straw around in her water. Kyouko slammed her hands down on the table. "Oh my! We have to help those poor, sick souls!" she cried in a melodramatic overreaction. Kasumi sighed. "Yeah, when we finish. I think the Witch in there is only a baby right now. It'd be an easy fight."
