| Genny looked up. It was a boy-her age. "Not really..." she blushed.
"It's 1634." he said matter-of-factly.
"W-what?" Genny asked.
"The date of that painting. 1634." the boy replied.
"Really?" Genny brightened. "Thanks!"
"You're welcome." the boy smiled. "I'm Josh."
"Genny." she said. "With a 'G,' by the way. It's short for Genevieve."

| "Okay." Genny walked inside and saw Josh looking at a classic painting. "Hey, Josh." she said quietly.
"Hey, Genny with a G." Josh smiled. "I was wondering if I'd see you again."
"What?" Genny asked.
"Girls don't last long in the city." Josh said sadly. "You know...it's tough to find a girl who's not a drunk or with a nice personality."
"I'm from out of town." Genny confessed.
"That explains it." Josh said. He lit a cigarette.
"You're not supposed to smoke in here, I think." Genny said quietly.
"I dunno." Josh shrugged. "The artist types smoke."
"You're an artist?"
"Yeah. I draw portraits. You?"
"I'm a...I'm a wizard." Genny said. "Well, not really. I was reading this book on species and I think I might possibly be an Elf."
