A late afternoon snack

Kira saw Jonnathan look towards the clock and looked herself. This caused her to sigh and rub her head. "Its late." she commented.

"I know.." Jonathan sighed,looked like he wouldnt be getting much sleep tonight.

"I think I'm gonna go get some fresh air." she wiped off some missed hot chocolate. "Its hot in here."

"I think Ill join you." He said "Its to stuffy in here.." he agreed

Kira shrugged, but didn't say he couldn't. in truth she was shocked. She was a loner, and most people didn't take to her much anyways.

Jonathan was a people person, he didnt care to be alone. He loved strikeing up a conversation and meeting new people. He found silence empty and and bland.

"Believe it or not, this is the most pleasant conversation I've had since getting to Mystal." Kira said, looking at some designs on the ceiling as she made for the front doors.

"Really?" He asked quizzically,the only really bad conversation he had was the one with that angry red haired chick in the candy store. He followed her out.

The cold, fall air felt good on her burned skin, and Kira took a breath and relaxed. "I apparently don't attract the right crowd." She though of Bubbles and Cuddles and shook her head.

Jonathan looked up at the starry night sky and smilled slightly. "Oh,I understand.." He said with a small nod,unsure of how else to respond.

Though the silence seemed long, Kira didn't find it uncomfortable. She wasn't the type of person that needed a silence to be filled. She'd rather enjoy it before the other person said something stupid. "So, Jonnathan, right? Whats your story? magical background? human? Creepy adult disguised as a teen to infiltrate the school?-wait what?" she smiled a little.

"Ya,its Jonathan." He said with a smile " Creepy adult disguised as a teen to infiltrate the school." He said with a laugh "But no,I grew up in the magical world." He said with a smile "What about you?"

"I'm the same. I've known magic all my life." she nodded, loving the feel of wind on her neck.

"Sweet.SO whats your magic?" He asked curiously.

"my magic?" she looked at her hands. "Soul magic." she clenched her hands gently and a smile played on her lips. "Yours?"

"Sweet." He smilled "Er.." He said looking around cautiosly to make sure no one else was in hearing range "Blood.." he said quietly.

"Blood?" she reacted to the word normally, as if he had just said puppies or something. "Like controlling, or you just whip your blood out like a chain?"

"Like controlling." He raised an eyebrow at how casually she said it,did she know how highly illegal it was..?

Kira wasn't phased and her expression remained the same. "That's some dark stuff there, Jonathan."

"Yes,I know.." He sighed,looking down. He didn't tell many people about it..

"How did you get caught up in something like that?" They were walking past the lake now, nearing the side of the forest. Kira wasn't one to pay attention to personal boundaries much, though her own were like a brick wall.

"It wasn't something I choose..I was born with these powers.." He shrugged with a sigh. He glanced around,noticeing that they where near the side of the forest also how close she was,he didnt mind though.He didnt really have personal space issues.

(I meant more personal questions when I said boundaries, but that works too :3 )

"You didn't have to develop them though." Kira said honestly. "I'm not saying anything against your life choices, god forbid I preach them." she shook her head quickly.

"I guess I didnt have to but,I don't know why but I did.That and my sister told me to embrace it." He shrugged shaking his head.

"That's childhood." Kira stretched. "never know how things are gonna go. One moment you can be sleeping in your nice fluffy bed, and the next thing your whole world has changed." Kira then stopped, her face red.
