Taikutsushita

Tap, tap, tap, you make your way down the sidewalk. Thankfully, not many people are out and about--not like there is usually anyway, but still, it makes it easier and less stressful to walk. There's no need to worry about bumping into a quiet person. 
As you walk, you run your fingers across the iron fence that separates the townhouses from the sidewalk and street. You can feel the occasional plastic-like leaf of the shrubbery lining the fence and lawns as you go along, giving your fingertips little scratchy tickles. You continue to stroll until you feel the usual scratchiness of the brick column end to the fence and the braille "11037" under the normal numbers of your address against your fingers, at which you turn and make your way up the driveway and to the door. It takes you a moment of finding your keys in your pockets, but you manage to open the dark green side door. After setting your white-tipped cane down next to the umbrella rack, you make your way into the living room.

It had been a particularly stressful day for you. The strain of doing highly illegal things to make ends meet. The risks where high but the money was great. But none of that matterd at the moment,all that matterd was walking up to the dark green door of 11037. Lately things had been hectic and you hadn't gotten a chance to see her for at least a week. You missed her and worried,though you wouldn't let anyone else no that. You smilled slightly as you knocked your signature knock while puffing out the remainder of the cigarette you just put out.

God dammit.
You had just sit down, too.
But it was alright. Your reaction wasn't pure dismay, as you recognized the knock. Oh, glorious day, you think to yourself. The touch of sarcasm was something you couldn't help; despite it, you certainly were sincere. Pushing yourself up off the plush couch that was easy to melt into with a soft "gnhh" sound of effort, you make your way to the door and open it. "Yo," you greet nonchalantly, both hands being put into the pockets of your loose navy blue hoodie. Just in case it wasn't really her and just some random solicitor who happened to use that knock to be quirky.

Your smile wided the slightest bit more.God it was good to see her. " Hey Babe." You smirk causually,stepping inside.      You wrapped your arms around her in a 'I missed you' kind of hug.

You stick out your arms in shock for a second from the sudden contact, but quickly wrap them around her torso and rest your hands on her bottom in a tight return. You murmur a "hi" and snuggle your head into the crook of her neck, giving it a light kiss.

You burry your face in her hair barley audible mumbling "I missed you. You trace small circles into her back and take a moment to enjoy the warm embrace. After a few moments you release your grip just resting your arms on her hips. "So what have you been up to?" You ask casually.

"Eh, nothing much," you say, lifting your head and giving a small shrug. "Spending a lot of time in Carytown"--the local shopping district--"and the park and sh*t. You?" You sway your hips back and forth to a mental beat, shuffling your feet slightly in time to it as well. Always a song in your head.

"Ah,sounds fun.Better then what iv been up to" You nodded with a slight sigh. "Just dealin,most of 'em where downtown in the gang territory." You sighed "But luckily Iv been scraping up more then enough to pay rent. So Iv had some extra cash to spend" you said as you reached Into your  pocket "I even got you something." You swayed along with her, loving the little rhythm she always had.
