She grinned and bowed with him. "And I would hide from a thousand dragons for you." Pres hugged him and then jumped back into a ninja stance. ""HIIII YAh!"

Surprised by her sudden defensive position, he leaped back and held up his hands in, at first an action of surrender and then changing to a defensive stance as well. "Well, that came out of nowhere," he teased with a grin.

"So did the dragon thing, love." She kicked and twisted around. "You can't defeat me! I'm the all powerful Princess Preslea!"

He leaped back, holding out his hands not so much to fight back but more so to protect himself. "But I'm no match for you, Princess Preslea! I'm no good with my fists, only my sword!" Which was actually pretty true, he couldn't throw a punch if his life depended on it, even a pretend one, and he would prefer to rely on his imaginary weapons. "I saved you from the dragon and this is the thanks I get?" he joked.

Preslea laughed and hugged Mal. "Oh, I'm sorry!" she said softly and then karate chopped his side playfully.

He hugged her back, but startled when he felt her karate chop his side. "Hey!" he protested, letting go of her and pouting. "That was a dirty trick." He wagged a scolding finger in her face.
