Thief-Stealth, Wealth, and Staying in Good Health--that is the creedo of the thieves.
Thieves exist in guilds, the most infamous and largest being B's. B, the
head, is a man of great riches and sticky fingers. Most Thieves belong to this guild, though some are individual and keep their stolen goods for themselves. Thieves usually go from town to town and loiter in taverns, pick pocketing
the customers, picking up the gals/guys, and relaxing with drinks.
Gladiator-Your common warrior-type class. Gladiators are the strongest of the strong, the toughest
of the tough. They make their living by fighting monsters in arenas in the bigger cities for show,
and some dabble in exploring and collecting/harvesting relics from fallen foes to sell at their
shows, as well. Many would most likely know their name, depending on the region they're from, and
usually wear quite a bit of purple and green in their outfits. These colors have a "I am very strong
do not even try to mess with me" connotation in this world.
Sage-The usual wizardy title, Sages are the magicians of the world. Harnessing the powers of light
and dark, they heal and fight, respectively. Spells like "Kazing" and "Refreshing Rain" have
great healing powers, the former able to bring people back to life! Charms such as "Zammle" and
"Deathtime", obviously, cause much harm. Sages become such by going to Swinedimples School of
Magic, a prestigious school of the Snoberia region, and learn everything they know there. Because
their studies are mostly focused on magical arts rather than academics, Sages usually aren't all
that bright in simple things such as multiplication, but otherwise are quite intellectual people
with philosophical minds. Most of them, anyway.
Minstrel-Minstrels are a nomadic people of entertainers. They move in tribes, their leaders usually
being a woman called the "Luminary" of the people. Minstrels will camp outside of cities on occasion
and entertain with magic shows, song and dance, instruments, and food they catch and cook themselves
for the audience. They have a talent for a certain thing, be it an amazing voice, a master of the
lute, or even a skillful archer or swordsman, as it is in the Minstrel's culture and blood to have
one thing they are specially good at. Minstrels are the only to have harnessed the power of wind, all
having abilities such as creating whirlwinds to sit on or attack with (think airbender), along with
blasts of lightning. Most have quite unusual names.
Armamentalist-Now here's a vocation you probably aren't aware of. The Armamentalist is much like a
knight or paladin, wearers of silver armor, boots, and the like. The best way to describe their
looks would be a Musketeer, wearing their cities emblem on their chest and a feathered hat of
the town with pride. Armamentalists are skilled fighters; though not very strong, they're
fast and nimble. They also use the magic of Brownies to assist them, a magical creature
much like a fairy, that attaches onto a person and becomes their partner for life. If a Brownie
attaches to you, you are destined to be an Armamentalists. Brownies can vary from sweet, dainty
girls in flower dresses to mischievous ladies who love to prank. Each color of Brownie have
a different associated element, the chart to which may be found
here.
Hunter-The Hunters are a mysterious group, living in the caves of the Lonely Coast. They are a
people of skilled archers and knife throwers, making a living off of selling the meat and furs
they score while hunting to towns they travel out to. Some also make their money being assassins,
setting up shops usually in dried wells in cities. Hunters are a people of silver tongues,
manipulative, snarky, and clever. They come in two guilds (if not an independent killer)--Pavo and
Apus. Pavo are the darker of the two, and are big show offs with their jobs. Apus Hunters go
about it more business-like. Quick, clean, and quiet. Pavo Hunters wear a dark, almost
black violet (like a raven), Apus members wear a navy blue, and independent Hunters usually
wear some shade of fuchsia.
