(Kei: *snuggles*)

"...What kind of an answer is that?"

(Rei: *snuggles back*)

"It's not. I don't have an answer, I just don't know.."

"...Then maybe you should go to a spiritual retreat or something?"

"A what?" He'd honestly never heard of one o those

"Er, like a place to go find yourself." Em said.

".... I'd have to think about it"

"You know, just take a trip to India or something, be a tourist, take some time off from this hectic place." Em gestured.

(*realizes Em would be the one Conan'd tell about Zach*)

"I'm not sure if I should leave"

"Why?" Em then realized. "Oh, you have a crush?" Em said, smiling slyly.

Conan looked away "What? N-no.. well, kind of."

"Your looking away, meaning your a; ashamed of telling me or b; ashamed of your crush. Which is it?"

"I-I'm not ashamed, I just.."

"Stuttering says otherwise."

"Okay, fine. I'm ashamed."

"Does he know?"

"That I have a crush on him? No."

(*puts this just before Conan confessed*)

"Then tell him?"

"But I.. nevermind"

"Tell me come on."

"It's stupid."

"And apparently I'm stupid, so we match. Tell me." Em had been called that earlier, several times.

".. You're not stupid..." He frowned, looking up "Rei's stupid and you're a lot smarter than her" Then again most were

"Rei isn't stupid!" Em took insult in that, considering Rei a very pretty and smart artist. Then again, Em saw the good in everyone, even in her grandfather, something her siblings took with a grain of salt.
