Information Super Highway

Welcome to an age where the internet is litterally a high way, as well are a few other things that can be assessed through the portal plaza in Old Teroz, the only remaining city from thousands of years before. Just step through a portal and enter the internet or the land of dreams and explore to your heart's content. Each and every website has become a place to hangout, every virtual store a real one and every mmo like playing make believe. Exploring dreams is similar, except you're actually in a sleeping person's dream.


These portals used to be used to reach a land beyond our understanding, but as Neshyrea quickly developed technology and became more modern they even managed to surpass us. Cooking? Unneeded, just use a replicator. Exercise, also unneeded. With the touch of the button you're whatever weight you want to be.

(Get a pic for your char then name them and give me their age, it's the usual stuff. All the portals have a dangerous side it's up to you to find them)

Maya steped off into portal plaza,wondering where to go next. Maybe she would meet up with some freinds today or something..

Kylie arrived a few minutes after Maya did, not noticing her as she walked over to the man in charge. They had to tell him things like what portal they wanted to talk and if the already knew the rules

Maya hummed.tunning fingers through her hair, going up to the person she was suposed to.

She listened as he droned on about the rules, apparentl ignoring the fact she came here almost every day. Once she was finally free to move on she went to the portal leading to the internet, taking off her shoes and leaving them near the entrance before speaking to the woman by the portal

She walked up to the guy.

He turned to face her, clearly not sentient. "State your name."

"Maya." she said

"Age?"

"18"

"Do you understand the rules?"

"yes." she nodded

He went over the rule anyways then asked "What portal would you be using today?"

"the internet one.."

He didn't respond, needing to hear the proper name. What Maya was supposed to say was 'The Information Super Highway'

"I mean... The Information Super Highway"

"Show this to Tanya at gate 13 and remove your shoes by the entrance." He handed her a slip of paper

She nodded,takeing the slip,going tothe gate and takeing off her shoes and showing the slip to tanya.

Tanya, having just finished speaking with Kylie, took the slip. She'd answer any questions Maya had

Maya processed to run through the portal.

Tanya didn't react, not really caring

Kylie was trying to decide how to explore, finally choosing a virtual hoverboard
