Conan was off in a quieter part of the library, a worn book in his hands. For once it wasn't a spell book, he was actually reading something interesting for once.

A small, scrawny boy with rather large glasses rushed past Conan, almost knocking the book out of his hands. He sat down near the arm of the chair, seeming to be hiding from something, or someone.

"What the.." He had managed to catch his book before it fell, frowning at the boy when he noticed him and marking his page in the book "What are you doing?"

((It's fine. I was mostly kidding.))

The boy looked up at Conan and slid his glasses back up his nose with a finger. He had slightly feminine looks, but otherwise his appearance was nothing extremely interesting. "H-hiding...," he replied softly.

"And.. why are you doing that?" He put the book down, turning to face her

((AHEM.))

"S-someone was chasing me. I-I think he stole my book...," the boy said with a tone of despair, seeming to really be fond of said book.

"Why'd someone do that? What book was it?" Wondering why it seemed to be so important

"I...I'm not sure...I...a bully, I presume," the boy replied in his usual quiet voice, looking down and pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose once again. "My favourite, A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I-it's not important. T-this school has a...large library...I-I'll be fine, I guess..."

(Ha, sorry. Typo)

Cian didn't think the school had that book.. anymore, Rei probably tossed it in a fire in an attempt to irritate him "I.. don't know if the school has that book, I could let you borrow mine if you want."

"O-oh! Really? Th-that's a...a shame.... No, it's fine. keep your book," the boy said, smiling weakly and nodding. "I guess you'd like my name now, so, um, I-I'm Casey."

"Are you sure? I'm fine with letting you borrow it..." He replied, frowning slightly "I'm Conan"

"I'm fine...," Casey replied and looked around. "Seems that the cost i-is clear...," he said quietly too himself, and slowly stood.

"All right." Conan shrugged, wondering if he was always this nervous
