Ellria

When a child is born in Ellria, they are given a bracelet. Each one has its own 'spirit animal' sealed inside. Everyone's Animal is different. The child must learn to control the Animal as they grow, using thief animal anyway they'd like--assisting them with everyday tasks, protecting them on dark roads, etc.--until they reach the age of fifteen. On the last day of their birth month, along with others from all across the land who share the same month, they will go to the City and revive their Genius from the Luminary. A person's Genius is like a magical element. There are five Geniuses: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Magic. On rare occasions, people get a 'Special' Genius, although that hasn't happened in over thirty years. Once you are given your Genius, a red, blue, green, yellow, or purple gem is placed on your bracelet, respectively. By using your Animal and Genius at once, you can accomplish great things--feed a large crowd of people, destroy buildings, fly long distances, and more--but you must practice very hard first. Because of these awesome powers, people usually enter fighting competitions across the land, hoping to one day be the best Weilder--people who fight with their Animals and Geniuses--in the world.

Long story short, your character is heading off to get their Genius, and once they get it, they start their quest to become a great Weilder.

Sorry about the length of the paragraph explaining the plot. I didnt want people to get confisedz unless that confused you more...uh-oh.
Anyway, all you need to join in is the characters name, get a picture, and pick them an Animal. Also mention of you have a preference for a Genius, okay?

Places:
Outer Burrows: Where the characters live, along with all the other. It's like a neighborhood, except everyone lives in holes burrowed into a long wall of dirt. Don't worry, they're deep and big, and also have curtains hung up for privacy.
Inner Burrows: This is the market place. It's just like the Outer Burrows, built inside a wall that stands next to the other. They have food, books. Basically everything you'll need.
The City: A spectacular city, with large, white buildings and lights that shimmer bright at night, and can be seen from the Burrows. It's Ellria's capital, and also where you go to get your Genius. The Luminary (who is the ruler of the land), Politicians, and very rich people live here.
Stormway: A large town a few miles away from the City, it's the first town you'll come across on your journey. It's full of friendly faces, and sells good armor. It also has a nice inn. Just avoid the alleyways.
The Circle: Where the current top Weilder, Ethlind, lives. Once you master your powers, you can come here to challenge him. There's also five other top Weilders, the best in their individual Genius class. No one knows much about them.
Note: I'll add more towns later, so there will be more places to stop at.

I control the NPCs (although I'm playing them...can I call them that, then?) like the Luminary, townspeople, merchants, and stuff.

~Ellria has its own currency, the whole being the largest coin amount. There are onzes (value of one; least value), tens (valie of ten), quarts (twenty five), and whole (one hundred) coins.

"Is that the one you want?" asked the shopkeeper, twiddling his thumbs. If he didn't sell more, he'd surely go out of business. A horn sounded three times, signaling that the air train to the City would be there in three minutes.

Sarah jumped, turning to look at him. She hadn't noticed him at first "Y-yeah.." She frowned when she heard the horn, wishing she had more time

"Yes!" he exclaimed happily, grabbing the book and tucking it under his arm, then grabbing Sarah's wrist and pulling her over to the counter. He rang her up, then handed her the book back and held out his hand for the money--two quarts.

Sarah dug through her pockets for a minute, then finally handed him the money, smiling.

The shop keeper pocketed the money and grinned, then fixed his belt and waddled over to persuade another customer to buy. The horn sounded again, twice this time.

Sarah walked away, opening the book just to close it again. She didn't have time, the train would be there soon.
