Muse, looking like she had been trampled by a stampede, sat grumbling in the now emptying training hall. She had been sitting there for half an hour, having left the room when she got her ass kicked because apparently the best way to train someone was to throw knives and shit at her face and make her use her mind powers to send it flying away. Muse had only succeeded in a tiny way, but the knives still hit her elsewhere and they switched to blunt objects. She had no idea how or why this was happening, but it was possible the training douche back there was insane.

Then again, she figured everyone here was crazy. She figured they wouldn't have been kidnapped, which, strangely, wasn't the main reason she was so pissed looking. Still unwilling to admit no one would come to help, she was instead pissed about the smaller details. Like she had already been here long enough for her hair dye to fade from the dark red it had been and the fact they had made her take out her lip piercing.

If one paid enough attention to her, it would be clear she was waiting. For what, that was anyone's guess. Her ears perked up, quite literally, when the session ended. Long pointed ears now pointed straight up rather than just kind of hanging limply, she quickly stood up to find what she wanted to.

(Note:There's a certain breeding thing among elves. Those with pure blood, which is usually the royal family and nobles, have more.. active and flexible ears. Their ears react visibly to their mood and can be moved and wiggled by the elf, though this appears to serve no purpose. Those that have inter-mingled with humans sexually first have stiffer ears, this ears are usually seen on warriors, that don't react to their mood and cannot be moved at will. They are also a bit shorter. Where as the poorest of elves, living in the small villages scattered about, have ears only about two inches larger than a humans, but with a very obvious point.

Finally, elves that insist on traveling around in a tribe like nature and refusing the queen's rule, who also have the least pure blood, have ears about the length of a humans with barely pointed ears. They also quite resemble whatever species their parent might of mated with instead of another elf to make them so low blooded. For example, a smaller version of a huldra with very elven features or a tiny orc looking creature. These elves are hated by the rest

Just wanted to explain the ear thing xD)

Stone was feeling irritated as he walked out of the training hall. He didn't like the routine of the place or the lack of freedom. He wouldn't mind not being allowed to leave at all, as he would anyway, but it was that you couldn't leave. He mightn't have detested the prison-like atmosphere - well, that was how it felt to him - quite so much if he had the choice to come here and hadn't been knocked unconscious and kidnapped. He liked to be able to go where and do as he pleased, and so he was constantly feeling restless. To top it all off, he had a pounding headache from the din of the training hall, and so had been walking with a hand on his forehead and his eyes half closed. He saw the whole thing as a thinly veiled insult; for 'low-powered wizards/witches' - what did they expect 14 year olds to be capable of? Stone hadn't been walking to a particular place, nor had he been watching where he was going, his half-closed eyes on the ground. It was only because he saw a shadow on the ground that he stopped, just avoiding walking into someone. He halted, looking slightly surprised for a second and trying to recall who the person was. Rather than apologise, he simply said, "Good evening."
