Shawn breathed in and griinned, enjoying the smell.

Quinn walked up to the counter. "Um, I'd like Orange glazed ckicken with white rice." She nodded and looked at Shawn.

((You teased me with delicious dining-in food first. ;-; ))

"Uh...same thing, please?" Shawn said quietly, shrigging his shoulders.

(;-; I sowwy..
Do you have a whataburger in Virginia?)

Quinn sat down and looked at the ground. Her mind was currently everywhere..

Shawn sat down across from Quinn, tilting his head so he could look her in the eye.

(YOU'RE MISSING OUT!)

Quinn looked up and smiled. "Um, Are you still working for Bri?"

Shawn nodded and sighed. "Yeah, but I keep telling her I want to be a musician or a scientist or something. She says it's fine to have those as hobbies, but she wants me to have, like, a steady job. I'm sixteen, for God's sake. I still have time to decide and stuff," he said, playing with his napking. "Sorry for ranting."

(I'm sowwy...COME TO TEXAS! WE HAVE FOOD EVERYWHERE!)

"It's okay." She nodded. "My house has been kinda sad.." Quinn sighed.

"Why?" Shawn asked, glancing up from playing with the napkin.

"Mom is really struggling with her magic. Um, do you remember before Alyssa was born and she got her dark mark and she was just, not herself?"

((Yes. One day... *Dramatic fade out*))

Shawn simply nodded.

(Dun dun..)

"Um, she's just been struggling with the dark magic inside of her. It becomes strong and rnadom times, it makes her really depressed and sick..." Quinn sighed and bit her lip.

((DUN!!! *Dramatic 'DUN' sound from danisnotonfire videos*))

"Oh, I'm sorry...," Shawn muttered, not knowing what else to say.

"I-It's fine..yeah..It's fine.." She looked at the rings on her finger and sighed.

Shawn sighed, chewing on his lip. "Where's our food?" he muttered.

"It takes a bit.." She said softly and looked up. The waiter was coming. "Here it is." Quinn smiled and sipped her water.

"Yay!" Shawn exclaimed, grinning like a child being given a cookie.

Quinn started to eat and looked up at him. "You get excited like my dad..It's quite funny."

Shawn furrowed his eyebrows. "Well, I'm glad I could entertain you," he said, then started pigging out.

Quinn softly laughed and nibbled at her food. She looked up at him. "Uh, I-" She stopped herself and just continued to eat.

Shawn looked up and wiped his mouth. He may not be decended from her, but he was a pig sometimes like his aunt. "What was that?" he asked.

"Uh, nothing..I was just saying I loved you.." She wiped her mouth and sipped her water.

Hector's excitable, weird, random, and doesn't have a long attention span now. I've made him into a copy of Tobuscus.

Shawn shook his head. "I'm pretty sure that's not what it was...tell me, please?"

(Well, I love Tobuscus, but I have so many Chord/Dianna gifs for them. I like the idea but I'll have to see how Preslea reacts *wink wink* )

"I just, my parents don't know about the man that came into the house.." She looked at the ground and hid her face.

((He still looks like Chord, you know...it's just his personality has changed a bit. ^-^))

"O-oh...," Shawn muttered, looking down. He liked the idea of her telling him she loved him better.
